a diamond in an attic.

being a christian in today's world is like this...
you are a diamond.
a beautiful diamond.
but, you're in a large dusty attic.
an attic that hasn't seen the light in years.
its full of dust and rot and whatever else can cover up, what's truly underneath.
because underneath all of that dust and rot...
there you are.
you're still that same radiant little diamond that needs something to dust it off.
you see..
when you have all these distractions in your life taking away from the shining light you were created to be... Its like the dust covering that innocent little diamond.
but there's hope.
under the mound of  distractions... There. Is. Hope.
hope that our loving Jesus will come and blow all that dust and distractions right off of you.
and guess what... He will.
He wants you to shine just like that little diamond he created you to be.
so please dont ever feel like there's no hope for you to shine ever again.
just because you have all these things in your life dimming that shine, doesn't mean its not still there.
Jesus is waiting, with a full breath.
ready to blow your dust and distractions away.
as far as the east is from the west.
just ask Him.
i guarantee He will do it.
